Marie Little Soldier
Marie Little Soldier died Monday, August 13, 1948. Little Soldier was suspected to have died of pneumonia at the Hayden Residence.
Little Soldier leaves behind her mother at the Fort Warren Indian Reservation and other family members in North Dakota. Sheriff Hayden and his wife considered Little Soldier part of their family as well.
The family members from North Dakota will travel to the Indian reservation to take Marie and her mother back to North Dakota for burial on another date.
Little Soldier spent most of her time as an assistant to the Hayden residents. Little Soldier will be missed by Gail, Wes, and David.
