| This page was made to honor the life of Scamper Scruffy-Bunny Williams, known as Scampy to her friends.
Scampy arrived in our hearts and home January 16, 2000, and left our home but not our hearts on December 1, 2001. She was a wonderful Siberian dwarf hamster, with gray fur and a black stripe down her back. She had black eyes, pink feet, and a inquisitive pink nose. She could always find something to do. All night she'd run on her wheel, eat food, drink water, race around her house (whether it be her summer house or her winter house), and redecorate her home. During the day, she'd sleep, play with her people, hide in flashlights under beds, and roll in her ball to a place where she could sleep. She was a very determined little girl. She learned all by herself how to climb up the walls of her plastic winter home into the u-shaped tube that came out of the top, and how to climb up the tube to the top. She would then hesitate, looking in both directions, until she gained enough courage to slide all the way down. She loved carrots, seeds, oats, lefse, and anything edible. She would eat to her heart's content, and then store some in her cheek pouches for later. No one will ever be able to take the place of my little darling, and so far, no one's tried. She was the pride and joy of her entire family, and she will always be loved, and missed. |
