Class Descriptions

NY San Da offers instruction in Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. We also offer fitness classes and fighter training. Take a look at our class schedule.

Kickboxing 101: Heavy bag / Pads
This class is perfect for beginners and those interested in getting into shape! The heavy bag, focus mitts, Muay Thai pads and kicking shields are used to teach all the basic kicking and punching movements. The equipment provides resistance for promoting strength, focus, toning, endurance and cardio.

Kickboxing 101: Cardio Conditioning
45 minutes of shadow boxing/kicking to develop footwork and timing. This is intense cardio, rated #1 by Muscle and Fitness magazine as the ideal method for getting your heart rate up and burning calories.

Kickboxing 101: Boot Camp
This is our most intense conditioning class, combining kickboxing technique with a total body strength workout!

Kickboxing 202: Drills / Applications
These are contact classes. Everyone partners up to learn kicks, punches, elbows, knees, kick catches and throws. Offense, defense and fighting strategy are all taught in this class. Shin guards are required.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu:
This is a contact class. Material covered includes control positions, escapes, arm locks, and chokes.

Kickboxing 303: Fight Drills/Sparring
Advanced application drills and free sparring open to intermediate and advanced students.
