November 23-26, 2001Finish up the rust repair on the cab and undercoat the bottom..
December 1-3, 2001Strip the outer area of the cab of paint.
December 8-10, 2001Starting to use filler on the dents and welded areas.
December 15-17, 2001Not a huge update. Had surgery Friday on my ankle and it is sore. Got a bad headcold so I been nursing that. Went down for a short time Saturday afternoon and then Sunday afternoon after watching the Vikes get completely humiliated by the 0-12 Lions. Did bodywork on the rear and right side of the cab.
December 21-24, 2001 MERRY CHRISTMAS! Started getting the cab primered and the seams caulked. I originally was going to take 4 manual doors that were in good shape body wise and take the power windows and door locks out of 4 trashed doors. I'm not going to do that now. I'm using the doors from the 85 Sub to save the time and hassle of switching everything over. I left the gutting of the old doors in this area. There are a lot of pictures of the disassembly.
December 29-31, 2001Coming Soon! The cab is sitting pretty in primer! I forgot my camera this weekend, but I'll run down sometime this week and get a pic of it to post.

Need I say more on this one???

Rebuilding the Truman with Kevin
This is a cool site on a 1967 Chevy C10 rebuild. Check it out. You'll see that I'm basing my design style from this site...with Kevin's permission. I have the design talents of ...well I'm not sure of what.
I also own 69 Chevy and 70 Chevy pickups. I owned both of them back in high school and sold them, but I ended up being the owner (again) of them a few years later. I just got the 70 back from my dad before he passed away. Long story on how he ended up with it. Lots of family history is involved with both trucks. The 69 is even a longer story. I'll be driving the 70 when I start my cab switch on the crewcab project.

1974 Alfa Romeo Restoration
OK...my links are going to include some non-truck sites. You HAVE to check this out! Jeff is restoring a 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV and it has its share of rust. He is well documenting his rust removal process on this website. It is very informative!
