Contrasting unintentionally with my "Pontiac Girl" Angela, I happen to love Buicks. My dream car is the 1970 four door Buick Skylark that I own right now--which I am slowly repairing and refinishing--I used to own a 1972 four door Skylark, but I used it for parts; and I own a 1980 Skylark for my winter car (though it has no second gear.) Buick itself has a long and rich history, the first company in the General Motors Corporation, it sets the pace and introduces much of the best of what makes a car uniquely American...not to mention that they are just plain awesome. Speed juggernauts of their time, the 1970 Buick GSX and the 1987 GNX not only were the leaders in the races, but they are also a beautiful site to behold, almost religious in fact.
