Are DS9 Movies a Possibility?

In the latest issue of Cinefantastique magazine, various cast members and staff addressed any talk of DS9 feature films or TV movies as follows:

Michael Dorn (Worf):
"That's going to be a question. They are going to have to do it in three years or two years, or else they are not going to do it. If we [TNG] do another movie, maybe two years after that they will do another movie with Deep Space or Voyager, and that's five years and who knows where you're going to be in 5 years ? [...] For me, I'd like to see Worf get a call from Captain Picard saying 'Come home' I say 'Got to go'."

Rene Auberjonois:
"There are rumors about movies for television, not that necessarily my character would be part of it [...]. I never thought we would do features films. If we ever did features, we could do the dark Star Trek. If we were ever going to do features, that's the area we would have been able to do them in. But it just doesn't make sense to me [...] I just don't believe anybody thinks they can go to the well that often. I can see where they might see that could do a two-hour [TV] movie once a year, twice a year, which would be great."

Nana Visitor:
"It depends. Basically, Rick Berman talked me into this job in the first place and if he told me that [a DS9 movie] is going to be good, I'd believe him and I'd do it, because I trust him."

Nicole DeBoer
"I hope so. No one has ever mentioned to me, but I would definitely consider it. I suppose it's not impossible. All I hear are rumors, about a movie, about certain people being take over to Voyager, or something like that. Nobody has actually talked to me or my agent. I haven't heard one peep."

Executive producer Ira Behr:
"The studio was interested [in a feature film]. I told them from the beginning that if the time comes when we need Sisko, this [the final episode] enables you to see Sisko. It was meant to be able to bring Sisko back, if indeed there is a life after this series. But in terms of the series, [the finale] is a very effective ending"

Co-executive producer Ron Moore:
"The studio wants us to leave some door open, and we tried to leave it open a crack.[...] But we don't think they are going to do anything. There was no indication, none whatsoever, that they are going to do a DS9 movie, DS9 TV movie, anything.[...]." Source: Cinescape
