Warriors Drop Season Opener
TEHACHAPI -- Lamar Chapman scored twice in the second quarter to help Compton build a 21-0 halftime lead,
and Compton withstood a two-touchdown fourth quarter by Tehachapi.
Chapman returned a fumble 54 yards for his first touchdown and added a 54-yard scoring reception on a pass
from Demetrius Johnson. Chapman, who had a game-high 101 rushing yards, also had a two-point conversion run after
Johnson put Compton ahead with a 1-yard TD run in the first quarter.
Robert Wright scored both of Tehachapi's touchdowns -- a 1-yard run and a 64-yard pass completion
on a flea-flicker from E.J. Muro.
