1949 Braves (Won 2 Lost 2)
The first junior varsity Brave team in school history was established in 1949. The 1949 Braves played a four game schedule, finishing 2-2.
The Braves defeated the East Bakersfield C's and the Arvin JV's, and lost to the Garces JV's and the Bakersfield High Frosh. On the line, left to right,
are Alfred Hernandez, Carlyle Liebel, Gay West, Bob Wiens, JM Newell, John Cummings, and J. Yett. In the backfield, left to right, Dwain Rogers,
Rudy Muro, Victor Cortez, and Harmon Fletcher. John Goodell coached both the junior varsity and varsity teams in 1949.
