Head Coach John S. Matthews
John Matthews became the third head coach in Warrior basketball history. Coach Matthews replaced Ty Sidener as the new head coach for the 1936-37 season. Matthews, a graduate of Washington State University, would watch his varsity basketball team finish the 1936-37 season with a final 0-8 record. It was the only season Mr. Matthews coached at Tehachapi High School.
