OF THE GIZA PLATEAU!
I have always felt the pull of the pyramids. That certain something from deep inside, filling my mind with questions, and drawing me to the Nile River and the secrets along her banks. I could never look at a picture of the pyramids without wondering Who? How? Why? When?
These are the questions that we are going to try and answer here. We will look at the history of the pyramids. I believe that the time for all the answers is coming very soon. It has long been believed that the pyramids at Giza are about 4-6,000 years old. But work in this decade by John Anthony West and others have shown that they are likley very much older. More like 12,500 years old.
We will also learn about the people who built this land and see alittle of what is was like to live during those times. We will learn about their Gods and why they went so far to care for their dead.
I have also gathered alot of photos so you can get some idea of what it is like on the Giza Plateau. Very few of us can afford to travel to Egypt, so I
hope these pages will help you feel like you have been there!
