The irrepressable Jonathon Ross was once again the host for the British Comedy Awards this year, somewhat scarily for the ninth year. This year again saw big wins for The Royle Family and Cold Feet with Lifetime Achievement Awards being awarded to the legends that are Barry Humphries aka Dame Edna Everage and the Two Ronnies, Corbett and Barker.
