Note: In 1970, there were two separate World Series events (Eastern and Western):
Eastern World Series was held in Rochester (NY) and the Western World Series was held
in Azusa (CA). The following year (1971), Eastern Champ (Accurate Welding, Milwaukee, WI)
defeated Western Champ (Goettl's Metals, Mesa, AZ) in the USSSA World Series.
