The Union of Workers of Port of Rijeka Company was founded on 13.10.1990. It's main goal is to protect it's member, due to many changes that are happening since the Port, as many other companyes after the proclamation of indipendence of Croatia, is becoming a shareholder company. Since our workers and our members are also shareholders, we want to insure them their rights and give them the protection they deserves from possible manipulation due to their lack of knowledge about Law of work, Law of sea ports and similar. We ensure them juridic, social and other kinds of protections.

Our organisation counts 1067 members.

Our Union is a member of EUTUC, the biggest center of indipendent unions in Croatia, and it is also a member of ITF.
