fter the registration of the indipendent company of small shareholders "Luka" d.d. it will organise every activity linked with the activity of the Company, and it will especialy define the shape of mutual activity with prior employed and pensioned employees.

he basic right of an employee of a union member is to take care of the wages, security at work and condition of work. This right is ensured with a worker contract signed up by the Company of Port of Rijeka.

Our sindical organisation is a member of the Union of Port Worker of Croatia, of the Union of Indipendent Union of Croatia and of the international transport organisation ITF with it's center in London.
Work program
1.During the transformation of the Company "Luka" Rijeka into a shareholder company our Union will try to achieve a concrete position and role of every employee in the participation of the ownership as also the security of the working place, using nay possibility given by the Law of sea ports and the Law of privatisation.
2.After the registration of the Indipendent union of small shareholders "Luka" d.d. we will organise every activity related to the activity of the Shareholder Company, and we will especialy try to determine the mutual activity with the previous employees and the retired one.
3.In the process of work we will try to insure the Collectivity contract, the Contract of employment and the Law of work.
4. Initiate The procedure of concluding the tarif part of the Collectivity contract in the company and a sector Collectivity contract on a state level.
5.Initiate the initiative for determining the responsibility in the work of the management for non-acomplishing the determined goals, violation of the autorisation and abuse of the position.
6.Organisation of seminars for the persons in charge and to perform activities related to care of employees on the work, prevention and in case of injury at work, together with the council for the protection on work.
7.Organisation of special training and further improvement of potential Union persons in charge and member of the work council.
8.Develop and perform as much as it is possibly the security of each member.
9.Make any procedure related to the founding of new Union branch-offices.
10.Create a society for relax, recreation, culture and sport that would perform it's activity for the member of our Union.
11.Exchange information and knowledge with unions of croatian and foreign ports.
12.Perform changes and addition of the stuatute and regulations under the performed implementation of the microorganisation, that searches a new way of union organisation.
13.Perform activity defined by the statute as also any other activity on the demand of membership.
