This will contain spoilers if you haven't seen the entire TV series and the OVAs.
If you don't already know, Magic Knight Rayearth has a big connection with cars. All the characters are named after cars or something similiar. And if you've paid attention to other series, Sailor Moon's relation is with planets & precious stones, Sakura Wars's relation is with flowers, Fushigi Yuugi's relation is constellations, and Gundam Wing's relation is with numbers. Don't ask me to explain this to you; if you've seen only a few episodes, you should be able to figure it out, with little or no research. But if you really must know the details (not about cars though, I know nothing about them), feel free to email me. And now, onto the cars!   • Chrysler Eagle Vision
    Eagle Vision is the one in command of the Battleship NSX and pilots the FTO. He likes Hikaru.
  • Chevy Nova
    Nova is the mysterious girl that appears in Hikaru's dreams.
  • Nissan Cefiro (Infinity i30 in the US)
    Cefiro, or Cephiro, is the location of the whole series.
  • Lexus (Toyota)
    Lexus is one of mashin gods in the OVAs.
  • Geo Metro (Chevy)
    Geo Metro is second in command of the NSX.
  • Mitsubishi FTO
    The FTO is Eagle's mecha.
  • Honda NSX (renamed the Acura NSX in the US)
    The NSX is the battleship from Autozam.
  • Tatra is an East European car maker.
    Tatra is one of the princesses from Chizeta.
  • Tarta is an East European car maker.
    Tarta is the other princess from Chizeta.
  • Nissan Rasheen
    Rasheen is Tatra's Djinn (they look like genies)
  • Oldsmobile Bravada
    The Bravada is the floating fortress from Chizeta.
  • Isuzu Aska
    Aska is the princess of Fahren.
  • Mazda Clef
    Guru Clef is the main magic guy in MKR.
  • Honda Civic Ferio
    Ferio is the mysterious swordmans the knights meet in Cephiro (TV1). In TV2, they find out that he's a prince.
  • Nissan Presea
    Presea is the artisan of Cephiro - which means she makes weapons, both for fighting and fun. She dies in the TV1. In TV2, her twin sister appears, who is ALSO in love with Clef, but Alcyone figure out that it's not Presea but her sister Sierra.
  • Zagato (brand), a shop that does custom parts & work on cars
    Zagato is the main villian in TV1. He loves Princess Emeraude.
  • Subaru Alycione
    Alycione is not only a villain in the TV series, but she also appears in the OVAs. She loves Sol Zagato, but she doesn't figure out that he's gone, and thinks Lantis is Zagato.
  • Honda Ascot
    Ascot is the brat in TV1 that tries to kill the Magic Knights until Umi slaps him and tell him otherwise. In TV2, he grows up to try to impress Umi, whom he likes (a lot), but she doesn't understand.
  • Toyota Corolla Ceres
    Ceres, Celes, or Selece is Umi's Mashin in the TV series. Celes is the manga translation. Ceres is the OVA translation.
  • Toyota Windom (Lexus ES 300 in US)
    Windom, or Windam, is Fuu's Mashin in the TV series and OVAs.
  • Mitsubishi Emeraude
    Princess Emeraude is the entity that keeps Cephiro in one piece. She was in love with Sol Zagato.
  • Honda Ascot Innova
    Innova was Zagato's right-hand man. He was originally some weird creature that was transformed into a human. Since I have not since all of the first season, I don't know what his role was.
  • Nissan Primera
    Primera is a fairy/pixie that follows Lantis around.
  • Mazda Lantis
    Lantis is Zagato's younger brother. Alcyone doesn't realize that it is Lantis, not Zagato. He likes Hikaru as well.
  • Nitsubishi Debonair
    Lady Debonair is the main villain of TV2. She appears in Hikaru's dreams, and she is the evil entity of Cephiro after Princess Emeraude dies. Her daughter, Nova, wreaks havoc in Hikaru's life.
  • Racccoon is Tarta's Djinn.
  • Rasheen is Tatra's Djinn.
  • Rayearth represents fire, passion, and the future.
  • Selece represents water, kindness, and the present.
  • Windam represents wind, wisdom, and the past.
