"Prison reality"

If i can touch a youngster who is on the path of self destruction, my mission will be accomplished. A few words about myself; I'm 45 married with a wonderful wife and 2 children, I work a 40 hour week and pay my bills, at the end of the week i enjoy the good life with family cooking on the b.b.q and listening to music. Life wasn't always like this, you see i'm a recovering herion addict who payed the price of my addiction. I started using drugs at a early age, hanging out with my gangbanging friends in L.A., I thought i was so cool fitting in. I quit school in my junior year in high school thinking it was a waste of time, Yes i knew all the answers, after all i was cool. I'm not going to go into great detail about the crimes i committed , but i will say that most were robberys to get what i needed to feed my drug habit. I've done time in federal prison in Calif, Oklahoma, Arizona, and in Texas, I've time also in the Calif. State Prison system. Iv'e done time with all types of tough guys, New York Mafia, Mex Mafia. Aryan Brotherhood, and every Black Prison gang you can think of. Dont be thinking you can come inside the walls of a Prison thinking your the toughest guy on the block, because you will be checked in a heartbeat believe me. Imagine spending time in a cell as big as your bathroom, Having to go to the bathroom with no privacy. Humiliation? You will feel that the moment you arrive in Prison. If it is your first time , you will be called a fish, You will be tested constantly, by staff and inmates. If your weak you will be eaten alive by the inmates. To this day i can still hear the screams of inmates getting raped. In Prison the inmates run the yard not the staff, every race has takes care of there own. Riots can jump off at any time , tension on the yard thrives constantly.
