| What is
Coming... "Every utilitarian approach to the unconscious, or just wanting to make use of it, has destructive effects, just as, we are now beginning to realize, it has in outer nature. For if we only exploit our forests, animals, and the minerals in the earth, then we disturb the biological balance and either we or later generations have to pay a very big bill. Nature seems to want to keep its own balance and set its own purposes and have its own biological whole and does not want to be exploited by one-sided utilitarian calculations." Von Franz, Individuation and Fairy Tales, pp. 28-29. What is
coming is too late to stop - no matter how much money you
have and no matter what religion you are. Your color and
race do not figure into the equation either. Your country
of residence will not change anything. Your political
beliefs will have no impact. True democracy does not
furnish monetary compensation to the elected. When you
have names and forms, know they are provisional. With
institutions, know where their functions should end.
Change is coming, whether we like it or not. Of course,
we can try and lessen the impact of that coming change.
But it will take a lot of effort and much in the way of
"attitude adjustment". Everyone will have to
change, not just a few. So how do we learn ? From
history? Think about it before you answer. If we have
learned from what has been done before, then why do we
keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again? Why
the same governments and why the same wars? Why the same
endless hate? Remember this. He who stands on tiptoes
does not stand firmly and he who rushes ahead does not go
far. He who tries to shine really dims his own light
while he who defines himself cannot know who he really is.
He who has power over others cannot empower himself and
he who holds onto his work will create nothing that lasts. |
| Choices... Read between
the lines. Often, what is not said speaks louder and
holds more truth. Watch and listen carefully. Question
everything and think for yourself. As Seth once said,
"If you imagine dire circumstances, ill health, or
desperate loneliness, these will be automatically
materialized, for these thoughts themselves bring about
the conditions that will give them reality in physical
terms. If you would have good health, then you must
imagine this as vividly as in fear you imagine the
opposite." The Seth Material Ch. 13
" ...As
a woman I have no country - As a woman my country is the
whole world - If this is treason, may I be worthy of it..."
