" Miri … you gotta back home ! TAlk to Dad and leave it all clear," Louis said when they are on the hotel's resto, next morning. " Dar, you know that he hates me. He doesn't want me anymore !" " Will you come to the house again, now ?" Louis asked. " OK, I wanna meet Ma and talk about this to her," Miri took a sip on her Cappucino. " We leave now ?" she asked. " Sure !" Louis stopped a taxi and get inside it with Miri, to their house. " hey, darling !" " hey, Ma. where's Dad ? Is he at home ?" miri asked her mom. " Nope, he's leaving to the market with Jean-Luc and his friends." " Uhm, I'll wait you on the reading room, kay ?" Miri said as she walk through to the reading room, where her father usually working at. " I'll get you a tea !" Monique said. Miri open the door and sat on a big brown couch. She stared at the whole room, looks like a library. When she layed back on the couch, she nudged a book with her elbow. Then she open it, starting to read what's written on it.
May 6th, my lovely fille leaves the house without permission. I don't want her to be those shiny people … -- Miri couldn't read on, so she turn on the next page. I have something in the kitchen to fix up," Monique said. " I'll be ! Call me if you need help !" she replied. Soon as Monique left the room, she opened the book and start to read again. August 31st, Monique cried overnight for Miriam, and so do I. We're hoping she'll be back. While Jean-Luc was mad at her and said that he won't forgive her if she got back. I miss Miriam." Mir skipped some pages of the book and read the last page of it. October 3rd, Mir's come back !! Yesterday with her boyfriend, Dave. She's pretty now. And happy ! Dave maybe the right person for her. I like him. I couldn't show my care for them, it's Jean-Luc ! He's still mad at her. I thought that he was just kidding for not forgiving Miriam ! In fact, he's serious ! I wanna run and hug her at the time. But, I know I can't do that in fron tof Jean-Luc ! Miri, thanks for coming back !
Mir stopped reading the book, thinking. " So, my Dad wants me to go home !" She walked quickly outside the reading room to the kitchen. " MA ! I gotta get home now. Tell Papa I'll be back on dinner with Dave and my friends !" Miriam said to her mom. " Oh, yeah ! Bring your friends is a good idea ,Miri !" Monique replied.
" Miri ! Hey ! Read this ! A special poem for you and Daddy !" Dee showed up when Miri got back to the hotel. " Hum, lemme see ...," Miri grabbed the paper and reads the poem. " Dee, you know what ? Go discuss there with Scott to make it into a song !" Miriam said, giving the paper back to Dee. " But do it later ! I need to talk !" she continued,, not giving Dee a chance to give comments.
