Objectives of Jagriti
 
 

         The Objectives of Jagriti are:
 

  • To provide basic education to the underprivileged children
  • The organization associates itself with a selected schools for identifying the needy children who will be provided the assistance needed for continuing the education. This help includes material help and counseling. The material assistance include the periodic supply of books, uniforms and other stationary required for the schools. The counseling includes the selected children and the associated teachers from the schools where these children are enrolled for schooling.
  • To provide basic health care to the poor and needy children
  • Jagriti aims at making such government sponsored medical programs successful that aim at eradicating the impediments to the child growth. This goal is achieved by the active participation of Jagriti in getting the information, educating the parents about the usefulness of these programs and getting their children benefited by these programs. To educate the parents about the hygiene health conditions. This goal is a pre-cautionary step in avoiding the diseases that erupt due to poor living conditions. This is achieved by educating the parents about the importance of keeping the living conditions good and healthy. This also involves periodic inspection of the houses for regular maintenance.
  • To bring an awareness about the development of their children
  • This objective is for the parents who have been successfully benefiting from the organization's implementation. This is to help the parents in guiding their children towards a better future with the limited resources that the family has. This is helpful for the families whose children are already in a progressive path, after Jagriti's successful implementation.
  • To co-operate with the like minded associations in achieving the similar goals
  • This objective is aimed to increase the chances of serving more under-developed children
    with the help of such an organization which is involved  in similar activities.
