Jagriti’s prime area of work will be in helping the under-privileged children get the basic primary education. Since lots of children in our country drop out or do not start the education due to compelling economic reasons, lack of awareness for the  importance of education in parents. This causes a greatest loss of an asset that the country has.
        Jagriti is aimed for providing basic economic support to children for education in the form of
        books, stationery, fee etc. Children are identified from various government schools through
        regular surveys. Jagriti's focus is also on spreading awareness about education in lower income
        families through working in slums.
 

       Jagriti aims at working closely with teachers, schools and other primary educational
       institutions to arrest the school dropout rates from the low income families. It also works for
       helping the families directly or indirectly in continuing the child education by regular
       counseling and possible aid to the family. Jagriti tries to take the burden of children's education
       from the identified families by supplying the books, school uniforms and other amenities that
       might play a force the drop outs from the schools.
