ON TOUR WITH FZYCC!
Highlight of the season is the annual Devon Tour. The first tour took place in 1992, in north Somerset, but we soon found that the teas were better in Devon! Now, the base is the Salston Manor Hotel, outside Ottery St. Mary, where players and partners are pampered by Sally and Martin in their sumptuous mansion (with swimming pool, squash courts, fine views and all-night bar).
Fixtures are played on the Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The Saturday is a day off for rest. Or for fishing, visiting the beach or tourist attraction, buying clothes, or just chilling out before the Tour dinner. It is nearly always sunny in Devon.........
