My Trip

No, unaccordingly to that background... not THAT kinda trip. I'm talking bout a geographical trip. Yes, I'm going to bore you with the insane details of my trip cross the atlantic. well it all started on the 10th, I think it was. Jen (my neighbor), her parents (also my neighbors) and I, left for PA right after school. It took about 3 hours to get to a little town called Linfield, (kinda a cow town like damascus). When we got there I met the people whom I would be living with for the next 3 days. Kelly (Jens mothers sister in law), Tim (Jens mothers brother), Megan and Josh (obviously Jens cousins). Oh yeah, and the two dogs Shep and McCaylah, (Kelly would be devasted if I left them out). So uh.. to make things quite brief in the PA department ... I stayed there for 3 days and left for London early Monday morning. So then we spent about 8 hours in the plane. It sucked cause I couldn't see anything out the window cause it was too dark. I liked the hotel in London, nobody else did but I did. They had a bar and a breakfast place and it was quite big. When we were in London we saw the Tower of London. Which was really cool because it was old and was a real castle back then. We walked around inside and went to the exact place where Lady Jane Grey and some of King Henrys wives were beheaded. We saw Winchester, the place where Dianas funeral was. We saw Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace. London is really uncensored. You can get pornos practically everywhere. I brought back a european Hustler for my friend Mike and one entitled '50s and up' for all my friends to laugh at. The phone booths there have pornography taped to the inside. I took a picture of the insides of one. I can't wait to get all my film developed. We then took a plane from London to Paris. I didn't like Paris nearly as much as I liked London. Paris was really crowded and noisy like. Whenever I went into a store I would get snubbed. Probably cause of my lack of french skills and my 'American class'. Everyone dressed so damn classy there. It's sick. Well.. I learned three French phrases. 'Parle Vu Engle' (do you speak english, 'Merci'(Thank you), and 'No parle frances' (I dont speak French). Although those are probably half wrong anyways. In Paris we saw the Effiel Tower which is totally overestimated. I couldn't get good pictures of that because of the sun glare. The only really cool thing I did in Paris was saw Jim Morrisons grave. It didn't look at all like it did in the Doors movie. When my pictures get developed I'm going to have some of them scanned onto my Doors page, and here if its still up. We took the TGV train to Lyon. Thats the train that they used in Mission Impossible. It's averaged to go at 200 mph. Lyon is a little town south of Paris. I liked it better then Paris but still not as much as London. BTW something bout London there are punks EVERYWHERE. Hehe. I liked it. I actually got to eat American food in Lyon cause they had a restaurant called New York Style. We ate there lots. Felt like being home and all. In Lyon we never actually did anything. Kinda just sat around. Our hotel was great though. I liked it a lot. The way home from Europe was just so cool. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had. The view was beautiful. I saw everything as we flew across. England, France, Greenland, America, and the Atlantic. Right when we lifted, the vocals on Pink Floyds Time started. It was just amazing. After that we went back to Linfield for a day. And I just got back to Maryland today. And here I sit wasting precious sleep on the computer. Oh well.
