There is trouble in the Mushroom Kingdom, nay the entire world of Mario. And it ain’t Bowser. An evil sword named Smithy has busted up Star Road. With the help of Bowser, Princess, and 2 new Mario friends: Mallow and Geno, Mario must find the seven star pieces and repair Star Road. Now, where to start looking?

Graphics (9.5)-Not only do the backgrounds in this game look stunning, but the characters have very many animation’s, and there is no slowdown. This game looks wonderful.

Sound: (8.5)-There are many songs in this game, which all sound very nice. The music commonly fits its surroundings. Unfortunately, Mario makes a noise whenever he jumps, which is quite often. It doesn’t seem to get annoying, though.

Play Control (8)-Unlike some other games, the controls are easy to learn, but some aspects are very difficult to master, like Mario’s in-battle jumping attack.

Fun Factor (9)-This game is incredibly fun all the way through, except the battling in the beginning, and when it gets tedious. The game also contains many mini-games, which are all quite amusing.

Replay Value (7)-Despite the game’s length, it has quite a bit of replay value. It might be the mini-games, or the wonderful graphics, or just because the game is so frickin’ fun! Either way, you’ll complete numerous files, and spend a lot of time in each, because of the many different things you can do.
