King Bowser is causing trouble, this time in Princess Peach’s castle! He has stolen all the power stars, and locked away the royal family. What does all this mean? It’s a million seller question…Answer: Mario is back. This time in 3-D with 15 all new worlds to explore, and plenty of new moves to learn. Bowser must be defeated. Can Mario fulfill his destiny yet again?

Graphics (8)-There is little slowdown, and even though a little blocky at times, the game has it’s moments. All three Bowser fights look stunning and the fire effects are excellent in this game as well

Sound (10)-The music fits the levels quite well, and doesn’t get annoying. Some of the sound effects are just amazing. You can hear Mario’s every footstep, the echo of his voice and numerous other wonders that are a pleasure to listen to.

Play Control (10)-The moves in Mario 64 are very easy to learn and execute. All the moves are simple combinations.

Fun Factor (9)-This game is very fun the first time through, and continues to be even long after you’ve completed it.

Replay Value (7.5)-While there may not seem to be much reason to come back to this game after you’ve collected all 120 Stars, it can be fun to just mess around in the numerous worlds this game has to offer.
