Back again, is the best SNES game, now in Nintendo 64 form, and it’s better than ever. You now have more characters to interact with, more vibrant graphics, more items to use, more festivals to attend, and increased livestock to choose from. Also, you can now for however long as you want, no longer restricted to two years as in the SNES version. The farm is busier than ever. And your job is to try to keep it all under wraps.

Graphics (7.5)-Despite the game being composed of mainly sprites, it looks quite good, and there are some 3-D objects, like every building on your farm. There is only slowdown when you have all your cows and sheep on screen at once. Still, the game looks decent.

Sound (6.5)-The music for each season fits it rather well, though it does get real annoying after 30 Harvest Moon days.

Play Control (9)-One word describes the controls on this game: simple. They are really easy to learn, and master, though the game puts your skills to the test in some of the festivals, such as the Sea Festival.

Fun Factor (10)-This game will have you hooked for hours, unless you have a direct goal, and finish everything on the game. That being hard to do, you’ll play this game hours at a time, and all the while, 4 words will run through your head: “Just one more day…”

Replay Value (9)-This game will be a favorite for a long time, seeing as you’ll be obsessed with completing every aspect of the game, till there is nothing more to do but earn more money.
