Make the Game Freeze
All though, this trick is utterly useless, it still is kind of fun to see how to make the game freeze up. First, start a three player match, with two people as fox and the third as Ness. Now choose an arena, I've found that "Sector Z" works quite well. Now, place the two fox's on level ground with one another, and place Ness a little ways from both of them. Have both players controlling Fox use his "Deflective Shield" (down on control stick+"B") Continue to hold "B" so that Fox will keep his shield up. Now have Ness use his "Lightning Attack" (up on control stick+"B") and steer it right into one of the two Fox's shields. If you hit his shield at the right angle, it will rebound off and hit the second Fox's shield and will rebound off it again. After a few rebounds, the game will freeze up. Also, if you listen closely, the music starts to mess up also.
More Bonuses?
Did you know that at the end of the match when it displays all the bonuses you earned, it's actually possible to get more then what can fit in the square. I've actually done this only once, and it was when I was fighting the Mario Bros. What happens is that in the lower right hand corner of the box, a little arrow appears, showing that there are more bonuses. When you press 
, the box will then
show the other bonuses you got. While nothing major, I just wanted to let you know.
Defeat An Enemy With One Hit From Homerun Bat
With the Homerun Bat, tap forward and "A" at the same time to do a powerful
swing defeating any opponent at any damage level with one hit.
Fast Way To Earn KO’s
First make sure you have turned off all items but the hammer, and have set them to very high under the item switch menu. Next, turn up the damage counter to 200%. Now go to the VS Battle screen and turn on four level 9 computer opponents. They are ready for battle now, about every second one of the characters will be in the process of defeating another. Though this trick is quite pointless, it's fun nonetheless and it gives you bragging rights to your friends about how many KO’s you have achieved.
