Super Mario 64
Weird Glitch
This trick could potentially damage your game or the Nintendo 64 unit. Although, I
have performed this trick several times without causing any harm. It is possible for
damage to occur, so proceed with caution.
In Super Mario 64, anytime during the game, if you slowly tilt the left side of the cartridge by pulling up on it gently, several interesting things will take place. For instance, Mario will start running with his back to the ground, as if he's doing the limbo. The music will
also start to mess up.
Lakitu's Cloud Missing Lakitu
Go to the room with the hidden entrance to "Snowman’s Land". Stand right up against the mirror so that you're facing it directly. Press C-UP to get Mario's viewpoint. Now, press right on the control stick and make the camera swing as far to the right as possible. At this point, press C-DOWN and watch. The camera should zoom out, but you will see Lakitu's cloud just hovering there for a few seconds without Lakitu in it.
Continous Long Jumps
Perform a long jump like normal, however, instead of letting go of "Z", continue to hold it down. Just as Mario is about to touch the ground, tap "A", he should do another long jump. Keep doing as long as you want. It's a fast way to travel around.
Lava Land Glitch
In Lethal Lava Land, choose either the fifth or sixth star. Go get the shell and start riding it. While on the shell ride over to the large log. Ride right over to it and smash into its underside. Mario should get stuck and make an odd long yell.
Fidget the Bob-omb
In Bob-omb Battlefield, head up to the Bob-omb on top of the mountain standing next to the cannon. Pick him up and throw him so he'll blow up. Now go anywhere you want and come back to the same spot in about thirty seconds. The bob-omb should be back by then, but this time he is walking around. Run past him without lighting him up, and then quickly jump to the opposite ledge, from where you can watch him. Keep your eye on him, and you will see that as he walks he'll be fidgeting. When he falls off the ledge, follow him down and pick him up. Then set him down again. Normally, the bob-omb would continue to follow you around, but this one just keeps walking around in circles with a lit fuse.
The Ultimate Death
In the Invisible Cap switch stage, get Mario's health down to one little bar. Now, go stand on the edge of the cliff next to one of the black balls that spits flames out at you. Wait for them to spit out a fireball, and make sure it hits you. Quickly run off the edge while on fire. This should return you to the moat from which you'll drown in as you have no power.
Jump Through Ceiling
In the castle, go through the first set of double doors on the second floor. Go near to the base of the stairs and move over to the left wall. Now do a double jump, Mario should jump right through the floor.
Jump Through Doors
Go through any door, other then the star ones. The moment you walk through turn
around and do a jump kick, if timed just right, you should go right through the door. It may take a few times to get it right.
Extra Long Jump
To perform an extra long jump go into any level where there's goombas (Big World is easiest). Now, perform a long jump timing it right so that when you land you'll land on a Goomba. This will send you bouncing about double the distance as a normal long jump.
