Now, contrary to what the title says. This page is NOT a new page on Everclear CD's. Its a page on the new Everclear CD's that are supposed to come out next year.
I first learned this information from the "Normal Like You" web page. I then learned more about the CD from MTV.com
This page is mainly an imput page. I will post any rumors that you have heard about the CDs on here if you just e-mail it to me. You can also debate about Everclear at the NEW!Coca_Entertainment Everclear Message Board and Forum.
Well, below is the rumors, news and stuff about the new Everclear CDs due out in March and July of Y2K. To add your comments, which if about the CD's I promise to add, click here

Album Titles: Learning How To Smile [and a second as-yet-untitled album]
What Can We Expect? A lot. After a tumultuous year marked by his second
divorce, major throat surgery and two concert-related lawsuits, Everclear's
Art Alexakis is diving head first into his craft. Workaholism's a great
coping mechanism, but aren't two discs a bit too much? "We're
schizophrenic," admits Alexakis. "Theres a dichotomy between the pop and
rock in this group, and that's why we're putting out two records." Alexakis
characterizes the material on the first disc, which was initially designed
for a solo project, as a "very pop/R&B-leaning thing. More groove, more
loops, more breakbeats-but still rock. It sounds like stuff you'd hear on AM
radio in the '70s. It has a Cheap Trick feel to it. It's less intense, and
more uplifting than anything I've done before. I say that, but the lyrics
I'm writing are coming out heavy, as always. I try writing light-hearted
lyrics, but that's not what I do." The second installment, which the pensive
frontman is producing in his basement studio, along with Learning How To
Smile, promises to be "Zeppelin meets Chemical Brothers," according to
Alexakis. "Just a big rock record, but it doesn't sound like Limp Bizkit."
All we can say here at Coca_Entertainment is, THANK GOD!!
From Normal Like You
Q101.com: For the first of the two forthcoming Everclear
albums, the band's repertoire has expanded, with drummer
Greg Eklund getting some time in the spotlight. Eklund wrote a
song for the CD and bandmate Art Alexakis told us that the
song is something different, "On this first record, there's a
song by Greg that Greg wrote about his honeymoon with his
wife and it's a different sounding song, because it features a
"ukulele"." The forthcoming Everclear album is still untitled,
but it's slated for release in early 2000.
From The Pretty Machine
Art Alexakis (at Woodstock '99) described the second upcoming Everclear album as "heavier and weirder... Everclear meets Led Zeppelin meets Chemical Brothers." Chemical Brothers? Art explains that he wants to incorporate electronic elements, but subtlely and within a traditional rock song structure. As for straight techno/trance music: "I'm not European enough for that. I bathe too much."
From Coca_Entertainment Correspondents
The first Everclear CD will be built up of songs much like "One Hit Wonder", "I Will Buy you a New Life" and will include many of Art's solo project songs reworked.
