When I was younger I was always being called "shinji" by my friends and family. My dad started it. The way I got the nickname Shinji or "believer" from my village is because I am one of the Genbu seven and have always believed in the 4 celestial gods. Aria Sasaki otherwise known as Uruki. ::bows:: I have been blessed to fight for the Priestess of Genbu.

I met Hikitsu and fell in love with him almost instantly. He was one of the first ones she found. Then on the warriors travels...they came to Jokiku, a village in the highest most northern reaches of Hokkan, and were resting at the local Inn. Hikitsu was going downstairs to get a drink and that's when he hit me. I was there working for my father. (He owned the inn.) He picked me up off the floor and I looked up at his handsome face...we've been lovers ever-since. Oh, I've heard it rumored that he and Takiko were lovers, but that's simply not true. I understand when many years pass, it's hard to keep the facts straight, stories change. It's an easy mistake to make actually...we all were the best of friends. Besides, I think Takiko had her eyes on someone else. 

Anyway, when Hikitsu saw the character on my left shoulder, the mark of Uruki of Genbu, he quickly took me the Genbu no Miko. I was welcomed into the fold. All in all we spent 2 years gathering the rest of the Genbu sensei. I was sad to see the priestess of Genbu leave us. We'd become so close. I miss her and still visit her shrine every week. Hikitsu and I had a child, one son we named Kojiri. When Hikitsu died I was consumed with grief, yet I always felt his presence was still with us. I was told he and Tomite guard the shrine to the priestess of Genbu. That would explain why I am always allowed to enter, and the warmth and joy just being there can give me. I would love for things to be as they once were. All the Genbu sensei and the Genbu no Miko reunited again. I live with that dream in my heart until I see Hikitsu again.
