Introduction
In this addendum I submit the bare essentials of the financial astrology of Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, Inc. His is consistent with the astrology of other wealthy individuals. For definitions, explanations and other charts, readers are referred to my first paper on this subject, Lottery Winners, Rich Men, Lucky Gamblers and The Traditional Benefics of Astrology.

Steve Jobs
Jobs, present and former CEO of Apple Computer, Inc. was one of its co-founders. Now known as Apple, Inc., the multi-national corporation was incorporated on January 3, 1977 . We want to look at Jobs’ 2nd chart for evidence of his personal wealth, an index, in the long run, of his business success.

Steve Jobs
Partial Harmonic Chart for the 2nd House

Placidus: c11—4Lib, c12—27Lib, c2—21Sag, c3—28Cap b11—0Can, b12—1Leo, b2—24Vir, b3—24Lib

Set (1) shows c venus in Taurus conjunct B MC (in c 7th house) and c2 South Node, with venus ruling c 7th, 11th, and 12th houses. The 7th and 11th parts would be helpful in selling to other individuals as well as to groups (boards?), as venus forefront produces agreeable, pleasing, and persuasive individuals. Presence of the SN there suggests Jobs started out used to or familiar with affluence (venus in Taurus, natural sign of the second house).

Set (2) shows C MC in the same set with c jupiter, ruler of c 2nd house. With the greater benefic, jupiter, forefront.(Angular with C MC) and influencing a 2nd house, this set promises better-than-average fortune with money.

Set (3) contains b2 sun/c2 mercury/b2 venus/c mars/b2 jupiter/c2 jupiter/c uranus, with influence to all four Angles, c 2nd and 8th houses, and b 2nd (24/30°) house. This is Jobs’ golden benefic for his 2nd chart. His Angular venus plus his Angular jupiter already promise personal and financial success. His golden benefic nails down the financial part of it.

Golden benefics are comprised of light/venus/jupiter, with venus and jupiter being conjunction or square but not opposition. At least, when opposition they fight each other rather than cooperate for the "great good" they together can produce. When on an Angle, "Angle" can substitute for "light." Golden benefics are not truly golden unless they also influence an Angle, either being on it or influencing it through a ruler. When they do, they operate to produce luck and success throughout life in the areas and charts they influence.

Note his b jupiter is in c 8th house, and his b venus is in c 2nd house. Normally their opposition is unfavorable for success (and/or money) because luck (jupiter) is fighting (opposition) love and money (venus as natural rulers of 2nd and 7th houses). His opposition, however, is a close one (40’ from 180°). Close oppositions generate conjunctions in their harmonics for the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th houses. (If the original opposition is too far off 180°, the higher harmonics produce “conjunctions” too far apart to be considered conjunctions.) The harmonic for the 2nd chart is next to the lowest harmonic, and it has produced a conjunction of venus and jupiter in Sagittarius with influence to four Angles and 2nd and 8th houses. Had that not been enough for wealth, this set also includes c2 jupiter, ruler of c 2nd house.

Unlike Gates, Jobs does have some mars and saturn influence to Angles, 2nd, and 8th houses in this, his 2nd chart. With so much benefic astrology padding his degree of separation from poverty, however, his malefic influences will only produce unpleasant economic bumps.
