God, Jesus, Christianity, the Bible and Homosexuality  This is a research paper I am working on. The entire paper will in time be posted here, but for now this is what I have finished on it.

The Parables of Jesus  It is rather limited right now. But there has to be a beginning at some point, this is my beginning in the writtings on the Parables.

My Beliefs

          I will not bore you with everything I believe. Nope I will bore you with just the highlights.

          I believe there are four key tenants in life - I try to live by each of them. they are:

To love your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and might
To love your neighbor as yourself
To learn one new thing everyday.
To teach one new thing to one person everyday.

I believe that Jesus is the Messiah.

          I believe that within the Bible is the Word of God. I do not believe that the Bible is the Word of God. I fear that to many Christians are now taking the Bible as an idol, worshiping it as the Israelites did the Golden Calf.

          I believe that a literal interpretation of the Bible closes the Word of God to modern humanity.

          I do not believe that homosexuality is a sin. I believe that the issue of homosexuality is only an issue because we as Christians are to afraid of dealing with the issue of human sexuality let alone Homosexuality or issues of Gender Identity.

          I believe that promiscuity is the sin, and that God intended for us to be joined together, two as one.

          I am not evangelical. I am not fundamentalist, nor am I a dispensationalist. However, I welcome them into the Family of God, even if they refuse me a place at the table.

          I guess that is about all I need to say to bore you completely. I understand if many of you believe that my beliefs are wrong. Nevertheless, they are my beliefs. Just as you have yours, I have mine. The important thing is that each of us remembers that they are BELIEFS, and not facts.
