South Dakota State University is located in Brookings, South Dakota. It is at South Dakota State University that I received my bachelor's degree (all Parises are due to the Creator of our universe, God the All Mighty)  in Arts and Science, with a focus in             Sociology and minors in Women's Studies, Religion and Apparel Merchandising. While at SDSU I studied extensively in the field of feminism. While attending SDSU, I was described by one of my professors as a "Muslim Feminist", due to my advocacy efforts for Muslim Women's rights to wear modest dress and the right of Muslim women to work in the public sector while holding to their religious beliefs and dress codes. I also promote the rights of other faith-based decisions that I believe should be equally protected by the Constitution of the United States such as covered women of any faith NOT being discriminated against in employment -- just as other rights are protected: regardless of there lack of      common practice.  In believing this, I have formed an online women's interfaith support group called      Covered Women 4 God. Currently it has over 100 members from diverse religious backgrounds & faiths.

I have tried to address the issue of Islamic dress from a non-conventional direction by placing     earlier  feminist theories regarding Islamic veiling under the microscope of established psychological,               sociological and biological research. Through my on-going work, I have, God willing, been able to address the issue of non-verbal cross-gender     communication within the context of veiling and have been able to  illustrate the vast number of flaws that have been overwhelmingly accepted by feminists, political  policy makers and academia in general regarding "oppression" of the veil.
