Naga Sadow was a Sith leader who reestablished contact with the Republic after twenty millenia of isolation. Naga had very little Sith blood in him. Sadow's heritage was the purest Jedi heritage in the Sith empire. Naga used the Sith arts to keep his body alive for centuries. When Marka Ragnos, a Sith lord, died, the Sith empire was sent into chaos. Sadow was going to take control by geting rid of Ludo Kresh, a rival. When Jori and Gav Daragon arrived as explorers for the Republic, Sadow used them to his advantage stating the Republic would invade the Sith empire. With fears of an invasion, Sith Lords agreed to name Sadow their leader. Sadow tatooed his rank on his forehead.
Naga Sadow began preparing Sith forces to attack the Republic. With the manipulation of Jori Daragon, Sadow was led to the Koros system, Jori's home. Sadow destroyed seven Koros worlds and the Koros Trunk Line with Coruscant.
The Sith forces were small compared to Republic forces. However, the Sith possessed far better technology. Using his meditation chamber, Sadow made his forces look ten times larger then they really were. Sadow had formed Gav Daragon in his image, but Gav resisted Sadow's influence and led the Republic to Sadow's hideout. Naga Sadow fled knowing he would be crushed. The Republic crushed the Sith fleet as Sadow was arriving at the Sith empire.
Ludo Kresh awaited Sadow's arrival. Ludo was going to destroy Sadow. Using Sith warships Sadow was able to escape from Kresh. Sadow traveled between the binary star, the Denarii Nova, and triggered a stellar flare, which destroyed those following him. From there, Sadow fled to Yavin 4.
On Yavin 4, Sadow entombed his flagship, placed himself in suspended animation, and made his Massassi guards build temples for him. Freedon Nadd arrived on Yavin 4 six hundred years later and awoke the sleeping Naga Sadow. Sadow apparently died after teaching Nadd the secrets of the Sith.
