General points from Captain Scarlet
The finger is on the trigger. About to unleash a force with terrible powers beyond the comprehension of man. This force we shall know as the Mysterons... This man will be our hero for fate will make him indestructible. His name: Captain Scarlet!
The
Mysterons... Sworn enemies of Earth. Possessing the ability to recreate
an exact likeness of an object or person. But first, they must
destroy... Leading the fight, one man fate has made indestructible. His
name: Captain Scarlet!
Donald
Gray voiced not only Colonel White, but also the Mysteronised Captain Black
and the Mysterons themselves... Wasn’t it handy that SPECTRUM sent Captain Black to Mars to be Mysteronised? Just imagine this in the opening sequence: Captain Black: Mysteron Agent (fair enough, the bad guys are black [note: no offence meant!]) Captain Magenta: Mysteron Agent (doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it?) If members of SPECTRUM don’t kill them first, what do the Mysterons do with all those agents once they’re finished with them? Thanks to Scarlet Lady for this one! Why is it always the Mysteron agents that point out that Scarlet is good looking? (I only found 2 episodes so far, in Special Assignment and Crater 101, but it was just a thought) Are they proud of their Masters’ handiwork? Oh yeah! Both Mysterons that pointed it out were male! Is there anything that cannot be over-emphasized in Colonel White's opinion? It seems that at least once an episode, the importance of something cannot be over-emphasized! This one sent in by Captain Yellow! You can hear these words in many of the episodes. They are three words: Blown to pieces. Point 783: "We would all have been blown to pieces." The Trap: "The Magnacopter is trapped! If it takes off it'll be blown to pieces!" Shadow of Fear: "When the gear turns, the observatory will be blown to pieces!" ..there should be more, but these are the only ones I can recall. Can anyone else think of
anymore of these common-throughout-the-series phrases?
