This is a funny fill in the blanks song. Use at least two singers, taking turns one singing the words the other(s) singing “ding dong” and doing a little dance or hand jive.
For a group of singers, take turns with each one singing a sock story while the others going A ding dong.
Singers should memorize the song pattern and then just insert the person’s name and sock story line.

Be flexible for people without mothers. Just find out what they do have, daddy, sister, grandma, guardian, gerbil, or just the person themself: Jeannette Jaquish don't wear no socks...
You can also do groups of people; it can be Den 53 don’t wear no socks, Marin County Republicans, Mrs. Cannon's second grade, or those guys in accounting don't wear no socks. It is funniest if the person is in the room!

At a tree- Now the dogs refuse to pee!

At the flag- Have you ever seen a flag gag?
At Superman- Now, Superman is Peter Pan!
On the floor – Saw the floor slide out the door!

At the Spectre of Death - Saw the Spectre hold his breath.
At an English bloke – You should’ve seen that bloke choke!
In the deep blue sea – Have you ever seen the sea flee?
In the air - Now the birds won't fly up there!
On the telephone wire - Started the Chicago fire!
In the stew – You should have heard the stew say PeeYoo.
In a hole - Wouldn't touch 'em with a 10 foot pole!
At the gate– Saw the gate evacuate!
Toward a passing comet - Did you ever see a comet vomit?
In outer space- That's the end of the human race!
At King Kong- That's the end of this silly song!
