  Who would have that thought that a movie about aliens and crop circles could turn into one of most entertaining movies in recent memory?  The latest thriller from direcer Shyamalan is a Field of Dreams style story about crop circles that start apearing all over the world suposedly created by aliens.  The story focuses on Mel Gibson and interesting family as they deal with the events surounding the oncoming invasion.
  Whats most suprising about this film is not how scary it is but infact how funny it is.  Never has a horror movie been so funny.  And filled with characters that you cared so much about.  Much of the humor comes from the everyday quirks of Gibsons family.  Theres one scene involving those helmets the kids made that will bust your gut.  
  There is are  religious acpect to the whold story that adds a little depth to the precedings and lends for a nice ending.  The movie of course is very scary so be warned.
