The soap opera genre and the sci-fi genre are polar opposites of one another. Soaps feature high quality drama, with low quality special effects. Science fiction is all about the effects- the battle scenes, the space crafts, etc. In this story, I've (with the help of many) brought the drama of NBC's Passions into a world know fanfic has ever created for them.

The Plot:
While however unrealistic this plot may sound for hardcore soap fans, the drama of it is as real as any episode of Passions. The Passions cast finds themselves the victims of a savage world where bored aliens have created a game to satiate their thirst for entertainment. The players in this game are none other than the good people of Harmony. To break free of this strange new world, they must work together- even those who hate eachother would be wise to make amends now- because no one can survive on their own. Sound cheesy? It could, but remember 'Together we stand; divided we fall.' This is not a crossover, with any science fiction story so there are no characters that belong to the alien world that have been created from anywhere but my mind. This story is most importantly about the characters of Passions and will not be outshadowed by any descriptions of special effects or alien love triangles, lol!
