Of the over 1,000 figures I've made over the years, I've done only three that could be considered "resculpts." Usually when Hasbro announces that they're making a figure that I've already made, I remake my custom as something else. The Rebel Hanger Technician was announced as part of Wave 2 of the Target Accessory Sets. A prototype was shown, which matched my custom almost exactly. I had used a PotF2 Rebel Fleet Trooper head on an AT-ST Driver body, they used a Imp Scanner Tech body instead, as the arms correctly have no gloves. With a prototype shown, I figured it was okay to remake the figure, which I did. This was back in 2002, and as you may know, that 2nd wave never materialized. I'd debated for a while on whether or not to remake the figure (which I still think could show up down the line) but once I also had to remake my blonde Imp Scanner Tech, I decided to go ahead with it. Ironically, the PotF2 Reb Fleet Trooper was wearing the incorrect Hanger Tech helmet (there should've been an extra piece on the back) and now by using the more correct PotJ Reb Fleet Trooper, my Hanger Tech has an incorrect helmet.
