6.) Physical appearance: Thelesis is auburn haired with streaks of goldish
red that lighten it to a tempered burning look. She wears it in a thick
straight splash down her back and plaits it, ties it back, and styles it at
will. She has feathery bangs in her face. Her eyes are a warm hazel - like
white wine in a candle lit room with the occasional flecking of peridot.
She's about 5'8'' tall, has a commanding air about her and her whipcord lean
body is svelte and strong. Her features are austere and aquiline, though
beautiful - she has a long graceful neck and long legs that make her stride
even and people step out of the way because she never looks inclined to stop.
7.) Personality: Genial, welcoming and not all-knowing - Thelesis doesn't
pretend to have the answers to anything - which is the step of humility some
forget when they begin to teach. She has consorts where she will, but the
Herald's Collegium is her main priority and forges friendships that last over
lovers that are fleeting. She will talk to everyone and anyone, has an
uncanny knack for being just where she's needed as she's needed and gives
advice as easily as she breathes. She enjoys occasionally taking her turn
teaching, works well with her hands and is patient to a fault. She hates
lies - once you lie to Thelesis, you can be assured that her trust will only
be regained after much, much time.
8.) Brief history: Thelesis is the daughter of a well to do merchant and his
wife in Haven. She has three other siblings, Preisis, Phedre and Adanto. If
there were ever any dreams for their daughter, Sisemay, and Thain never spoke
of it. Phedre was the oldest and had a natural head for numbers and a want to
take over her father's business, Preisis was next with her desire to learn
and Adanto as well. Thelesis - however - wanted to be a mage. She was
unaware at the time (being young) that you actually had to have a gift to go
to school for that. She settled for what Preisis and Adanto did - having a
private tutor. She excelled beyond what her tutor thought she would, at age
ten he recommended she continue being taught at the Collegium. Her parents
refused, thinking her too young and not wanting her to hang around an unruly
lot of nobles children at the Collegium. Preseis and Adanto took to learning
crafts - Preisis went to the Healer's and Adanto to the Bards - Thelesis
stayed home, pouting about what she wanted to do and feeling societal
pressure to choose. Thain took both Thelesis and Phedre to the Healer
Collegium to see Preseis two months after she began her study there, and
Thelesis was Chosen by Solaine. She immediately entered the Herald's
Collegium - her life taking on a new and exciting track. She learned that
she had a little bit of empathy there- and learned to train what little of
the gift she had. She and Solaine graduated top of their class and served as
Arrows and then took on a teaching position teaching basic Haven history to
new novices. She rose shortly through the ranks reluctantly - not always
finding herself the best person for a large job, but she always triumphed and
was picked as a successor by the previous Dean who thought she would do a
marvelous job.

mother, calling on her as often as possible for advice of her own.
10.) Thain, 65, merchant, calculating and level headed, She thinks he worries
about work too much.

· Phedre, 43, merchant, shrewd and worldly, Thelesis doesn't like talking
to her, though she loves her very much. They are vastly different.
· Preisis, 41, a mother of three with empathy and a healer, Thelesis adored
her and her children and her spouse Tyrion.
· Adanto, 39, bard, carouser and poet, Thelesis loves him, but wants to
wring his neck for his poor choices.

lucky and duty bound both of them! She was a trainee with them and both have
managed to remain good friends whenever Iriarte is in town. He's someone she
looks forward to beating at cards and such!

4.) Personality: free-thinking and innovative, Solaine loves anything new,
newly wrought, newly created, newly thought of, newly exposed - she can be a
little bit of a gossip and chatters to other Companions whether she knows
them or not. She is respectful of most boundaries and is excellent with
colts and novices alike. When she raises and alarm, everyone knows about it
- Solaine never does anything half-way, really.
