6.) Physical appearance- Skydreamer is truly one of the Tayledras mages -
exotic, colorful, powerful, and more than a little intimidating. Her hair has
bleached completely white after years of working with nodes, and her eyes are
ice-blue, nearly the color of a Companion's. She most often dresses in the robes
of her home, usually in vibrant reds or light, sky blues. She is slender, but
not frail;

8.) Brief history- Skydreamer was originally born Summersong as the only child
of Moonbright, her father, a scout, and Treelife, her mother, a mage
specializing in keeping the plants of the Vale beautiful. She is the third generation
to be born in k'Valdemar Vale. She grew up associating with many Valdemarans,
and became very interested in their Heralds and Companions.
She grew up into her
teens and was told, to her horror, that she had a very strong Mage-gift! She had
just begun training to become a Bondbird healer, and she didn't want to take
time away from that to become a Mage. Unfortunately, she had to, and she grew to
like and then love working with magic.
While working on mastering her gift, at the age of 14 she also
began training to become a Bondbird healer, though she still didn't have a bird
herself. The first wild Bondbird she tended to, under the careful
supervision of her superior in case he should go wild, was an enormous male
Golden Eagle, whose wingspan easily measured 12 feet across! Right after healing
his ingrown feather, he hopped up and told her that they would now be Bondmates
and that his name was Thiven!
Her next bird was a female Harris' Hawk named Kynia, who swooped down out of the
trees one day to frighten her and then become her bondmate! At this
point, Summersong was 16, and learned the joys of watching through her birds'
eyes while they flew, and she began to love "flying" so much that her
use-name was changed to Skydreamer.
Iielde, a peregrine falcon, was the bird that interrupted the ceremony telling
the Clan that Skydreamer was officially Adept-class at 19. He flew in,
frightening most, right in the middle of a quiet part to land on her shoulder
and proclaim that she was now his bond. After the ceremony, she met the
Healer-Adept Earthsong, a tervardi, whom she lifebonded to. They were eventually married
when they were both 23.
The year that Skydreamer and Earthsong turned 28, they made
the decision to travel to Haven, Valdemar to help in any way they could at the
Collegium, hopefully teaching mage-students. The night before they were leaving
k'Valdemar, a very young Elf Owl named Tilind found Skydreamer to be a good
bondmate and "adopted" her as well!
There were eleven of them (a human, a tervardi, eight
Bondbirds {four Sky's and four Earth's), and a gryphon that was also hoping to
teach {a female named Caythiel}) that Gated to Haven, Valdemar. Skydreamer worked
under the Dean of Mages for a time, eventually gaining that position at the age
of 30, while Earthsong helped identify youngsters with Mage-gift and taught
higher-level classes. Skydreamer also taught classes for students who were of the potential to be
Adepts.
Currently, Sky is the Dean of Mages, teaches Adept-level
mage- and Herald-mage-trainees, helps Esur the kyree by demonstrating to
his Cultures class when he focuses on the Tayledras and their Bondbirds, and is
happily married to Earthsong. The tervardi is happily teaching any who
are of the Healer-Adept level (though there are few) and helps with the younger,
more excitable students that need special attention.

Bondbird

3.) Species- Red-shouldered hawk (bleached completely white by magic)
4.) Age- Adult
5.) Personality- Confident, flirty, and beautiful, Kynia is a very intelligent
red-shouldered hawk. She has completely bleached white, and has been with
Skydreamer for 16 years. Kynia's mate is Tieran, also a red-shouldered hawk. So
far while at the Collegium, they have had three "children," all
currently fledglings - Viran, male; Aste, female; and Asyni, female. (Email Lydia

Bondbird
1.) Name- Iielde
2.) Gender- Male
3.) Species- Peregrine falcon (bleached mostly white by magic)
4.) Age- Adult
5.) Personality- Incredibly quiet, Iielde spends his days either flying or
perching, making sure he can see the mage-students working from wherever he is.
He's very interested in magic. Though he rarely speaks, Iielde has a great sense
of humor when he does and loves causing a stir like he did when he first chose
Skydreamer. The majority of Iielde has bleached white, and he has been with Sky
for 13 years.
Bondbird

2.) Gender- Male
3.) Species- Golden Eagle (bleached completely white by magic)
4.) Age- Older adult
5.) Personality- Thiven is definitely the leader of Skydreamer's
birds, with his 10 foot wingspan, piercing eyes, and don't-mess-with-me
attitude. He is truly one of the spirit birds, and has been completely bleached
by Skydreamer's use of nodes and magic. Incredibly intelligent, Thiven is able
to speak in complete, coherent sentences and can often make and understand
jokes! He has been with her for 18 years.
Bondbird
1.) Name- Tilind

3.) Species- Elf Owl
4.) Age- Young adult
5.) Personality- Tilind, one of the smallest breeds of owl, is still a bit
unsure of himself around the other, larger birds with his 2 foot
wingspan, so he's usually quiet and stays with Skydreamer to be
"safe." He's adorable and loved by all the students Sky works with,
and they all pet him, hold him on their arms, and save him little tidbits.
Tilind is about 3/4 bleached since he's only been with Sky for four years, but
has been in very close contact with her ever since.
