Transformers
Titanium 6" Figures
In the summer of 2006, Hasbro/Galoob
decided to expand its diecast metal Titanium line from other
properties besides Star Wars, and Transformers was the second property
they ventured into with the line. They made two different sizes of Transformers
Titanium. The first were 3" tall figurines, which were made entirely out
of diecast metal, came with a display stand that showed their allegiance,
retailed for $5 U.S., and although they could move at a few points, they
were unable to Transformer. The larger figures, roughly 6" tall, retailed
for $15 U.S., came with a personalized display stand, were 40-70% diecast
metal, and could transform. The 6" figures are reviewed in this section--
the 3" figurines are not reviewed on this site, since they isn't really
much to them, seeing as how they're statues that can move at a few places.
The Titanium line celebrated
Transformers across the ages, and many different Transformers from many
different eras were represented in the line, from Generation One
to Beast Wars to Robots in Disguise and beyond.
Some in the line were even made from comic series redesigns that had never
even been an actual toyline before, which was a real treat for fans.
Listed below are the various
6" Titanium figures-- if more than one version of the character has been
released over the years, the specific Transformers line that incarnation
of the character is from is listed after its name, in parentheses.
