Blake's 7 was about a group of resistance fighters who were fighting against the dictatorial federation. Controlling the populations of entire planets with a combination of force and mind altering drugs placed in the food and water supply. The title of the show could be misleading to some as there were never seven people, the seven being made up by computers. Firstly, Orac and Zen. Zen being the Liberator's (their original ship) computer and Orac, with the arrogance of it's creator, able to draw data from any computer that contained Tarial cells and as luck would have it this included every system in the federation. both computers with their own (almost human) mannerisms did however share one annoying aspect,.... having to be pumped for data. I also have to give Slave a mention here, Slave the computer from their second ship (Scorpio), trying to describe slave the word WIMP comes to mind.
A funny thing about the last episode (Blake), for four years the Federation could not hit the broad side of a barn door at 10 paces, now all of a sudden they become good shots.... I for one could not except this...so read on and find out the real facts of what happened on Gouda Prime....The Story
