Chapter twenty-seven
We got to the back of the school, and all that was back there was the high school's dumpster.
"This is just a dumpster!" Phoenix said and started to cures like crazy.
"If you wish, I will tell you where the door is," D said with a smile.
"Yeah, I'd like it if you would." Christopher said with a laugh.
"See the H' in high school?" D asked.
"Yes," Brooke said as she looked close.
"Ryan push that 'h' please." D asked.
"Okay," I said as I pushed it.
It like sunk in, and a door opened in the dumpster, it wasn't filled with garbage. Instead it lead down into the Nox's base, it sure smelled.
"Activate the suites now!" D hissed.
I typed in my code on my wrist transformer, and so did my friends.
[Let's go!] Phoenix, yelled as she headed down the stairs, yet again plunging her self into
trouble.
We walked down into the long dark, and very smelly tunnel.
But we could already hear the screams of humans, humans pleading to be set free, for someone to kill them and make it all end.
It was tearing my heart to hear them cry like that, and it hurt even more to think that my
mom and dad were living like that.
All because of my fear, I couldn't even save my own mom and dad.
We ran into a guard, "Back to meet your doom?" The man asked as he aimed his gun at us. "Or are you going to surrender to the all mighty power of the Nox empire?"
[No I've come to kick you little assess!] Phoenix yelled as she kicked him, well let's just say she kicked him somewhere that guys don't like to be kick, and leave it at that.
We came to the entrance, and, of course it was being guarded. It couldn't be simple like in the movies, we had to get them away from the door so that we could get in.
[How do we get in?] Brooke asked.
Frankly, I hadn't any idea.
[Like this!] Phoenix yelled as she fired and shot the first guard in the head. She took aim and shot and killed the second one.
[Oh God!] Brooke yelled. [How could you do that?!] Brooke yelled shaking Phoenix.
[With pleasure.] Phoenix replied. [They killed my dad, there for I have the right to kill
them.]
"No you do not." D said.
[I'll kill anyone that I want to kill.] Phoenix said mater-of-factually.
We went through the door, and the second I was through the door, the fear and terror of the last
time we were there came back. And I couldn't move.
"Intruders! Intruders! Intruders!" Screamed a computer alarm.
The battle had begone. And there was no turning back.
The white walls echoed with the call of humans and none humans yelling, "get them! And kill them!"
D shimmered as he stepped into the room.
"A 30 bit EPP!" Someone yelled.
"But we destroyed the last of them and their creators!" Another person yelled.
"It looks as if you missed one. Ice said with a cold and clear voice.
"But you were in command." one woman spoke up.
"Do you wish me to cut off your head?" Ice asked her.
"No commander!" She replied in a whisper.
"Now kill them!" Ice said, still calm and in control.
That's when maybe thirty Caracara and forty humans came at us with their guns drawn.
[Look out Ryan!] Christopher yelled as a man hit me on the back of the head with their gun.
I fell to the ground, but with the helmet on, I wasn't knocked out, just knocked to the floor.
I kicked him in the shine, and he fell to the floor screaming in pain. I grabbed his weapon and threw it, I didn't have time worry about him killing me.
D was at the computer, I didn't know at the time what he was doing.
Christopher was bleeding, at shooting simultaneously.
I heard a loud growl as a Caracara came up behind me and I shot him in the head.
[Oh man did I just do that!?] I yelled as the Caracara fell to the ground like a limp rag doll.
His yellow blood was all over me, and I just stood there, staring at what I had done.
[Ryan! Get your butt in gear! This is a war! You have to forget it and keep going!]
Phoenix yelled to me.
I didn't want to snap out of it, but I did, real live people were counting on me.
Brooke and Christopher knocked over many steel boxes with the help of D. Crash! The room shook and aliens and people cried out in pain.
"You'll pay for what you are doing!" Ice yelled.
It was chaos! Phoenix was stabbing people and aliens left and right.
Brooke as working on trying not to kill anyone, but it was so hard! They just kept coming!
Claws ripped into my arm, "you kill my mother," the Caracara said in a funny accented voice. "We have no time for resistance!" It yelled at its self.
My guess was that seeing the death of its mother made it gain some control for a little bit.
I could see tears in the eyes if the alien, as it looked down at the Caracara with a hole in it's
head. And I thought about the fact that it could have been my mom that was killed.
And I lost it.
