Chapter Eleven

"Beep. Beep. Beep." Went my alarm, man I wasn't ready to go to school!

But when I realized what else I hade to do, I thought school sounded like fun.

I got dressed and left for school, and met with Christopher.

"Dude." He said, never looking up from the pavement.

"Man." I replied looking down at the pavement.

"Hi!" Phoenix yelled, running up to us.

Brooke walked up, but said noting.

"I'm so sporty!" Phoenix yelled jumping up and down.

"Aren't you the least bit bummed? I mean about your dad and all?" I asked looking up from the pavement.

"Yeah, but we have to act like we don't know anything, so I have to keep up my act." She

replied with a big cheesy grin.

"Whatever." I replied, not in the mood to talk and then looking back at the pavement.

We where silent the rest of the walk to school.

At lunch we went on the computer, to see if we can access our computer in sector.

91285.

"Are you sure no one saw you guys come in?" I asked.

"Yes, no one saw us." Brooke said.

"Okay, then let's get this over with." I said punching in the codes.

Access approved it said on the computer screen, but it was after all the libraries' computer.

Washington trip for the One World Group. I typed in.

It is postponed until Saturday due to computer crash and fires. The computer pulled up the

"All right!" Phoenix yelled giving Christopher a high five.

"Now we have more time!" Christopher said.

"Yeah, but did you think about what crashed the computer and started the fires?" Brooke pointed out, totally crushing our moment.

"Mall trip peoples!" Phoenix yelled spinning around in circles smiling.

"What are you talking about?" I asked my hands on my hips.

"We need to wind down, and what better way to wind down than to shop?!" She said jumping up and down.

"Okay, sound like we should, and tomorrow we get back to work." I said considering that fact that we might all go crazy.

After that we all headed to our classes, back to normal, or so we thought.

In my science class we have the coolest teacher. I mean he just knows what he's talking

about. And I have learned so much from him.

We were talking about kinetic and potential energy.

"Okay class if a car were on the top of a hill, what kind of energy would that be?" Mr. Martin asked.

Bernadette's hand went up, "Potential!" She said to show her bright white teeth.

"Right, very good Bet." He praised Bernadette. "Now if a car is going." And then he stopped and fell to the floor with a thud.

"Call nine-one-one!" Christopher yelled as he jumped up from his desk and ran over to Mr.Martin and asked, "what's wrong?"

"I'm going to die." He said, and he sounded like he meant it.

"No you will be okay." I said trying to reassure him.

"This is my body!" He yelled in rage.

"What's he talking about?" A.J said holding his hand.

"I'll kill you!" Mr. Martin cried.

"He's nuts!" Bernadette yelled.

"Crazier than you?" Brooke asked.

"Yeah." She replied darkly.

Then he stood up, but he was sweating and breathing heavily.

"DIE!" He yelled, stabbing himself in the chest with a letter opener.

Just then the paramedics came in and took him away.

"This class is over." The principal said as they wheeled Mr. Martin away.

I called my mom on a pay phone and told he what happened.

The phone rang and she answered it, "hi Ryan."

"Hi mom."

"Why did you call?" She asked.

"Well there was a teacher that went nuts today."

"Would you like to talk to me about it?" She asked.

"I think I would rather talk to my friends about it." I replied.

"Okay." She replied. "See you when you get home I love you." She said as she hung up.
