But wait you say - Daeshara'cor is in the NJO, not Union. Oh, ho, ho how wrong you are - there's a female Twi'lek Jedi Knight in the panels of the comic. She's not named Daeshara'cor specifically, but by the time of her death, only a few years after Luke and Mara's wedding, she had a padawan, so it's reasonable to assume she was a Jedi Knight at the time, possibly a master. Also some people say that she's olive skinned like Oola, not white as shown in the comic. I don't remember what color her skin was described as being, I don't remember it ever being described, so I may be wrong. Some of the coloring in the comic is a bit off anyway, so who knows, for now it's good enough. I had had this Adi Gallia for a while (as the only female Jedi figure it pays to stock up) and was trying to figure out how to covert her tenticles to leks. The answer lied in wetting toilet paper, rolling it, and drying it in the sun (I'm in Florida right now so that worked out nicely). They're fragile, but they work. Lastly, I don't have any pink paint to match her outfit in the comic, so I used a red sharpie, and then a white terra cotta marker. It's splotchy, but it works for now.
UPDATED: I got the correct color paint markers and repainted her.
UPDATED AGAIN: A few emails, as well as my own rereading of the Dark Tide series, confirms that Daeshara'cor is indeed an olive skinned Twi'lek. I debated if I cared or not, as the coloring in Union isn't always on the mark (Tionne has blonde hair instead of silver, Dorsk 82 is purple instead of green) but I realized I forgot about another minor female Twi'lek Jedi from the NJO series. Swilja Fenn has only one scene, where she is presumably killed, and her skin color is never described. So, Swilja it is.
