It's going to be awhile before the true story behind Darth Nyx can be revealed. Her sudden appearence on Tatooine startled not only the Jedi, but the VS fans as well. Didn't Anakin destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force? Maybe bringing balance and destroying the Sith aren't related. Maybe Anakin wasn't the Chosen One. Is balance restored? Or maybe Darth Nyx is mearly a pretender? Insert your own quetion here? Darth Nyx was based off of the Sith Witch concepts for Episode II, which wound up causing a slight problem when Asajj Ventress showed up months later in the Clone Wars. It was decided, however, that it wasn't too much of a problem. The characters, while related to the same visual source were very different characters. Besides, ours has hair :) Nyx was known only as eithe "The Sith Witch" or byt the more familiar "Witchie Poo" until she was eventually named after the evil Greek goddess of night and darkness. My saber for this figure is highly inaccurate - she should have two with thin saber blades, and three metal blades coming out from the handle. I'm thinking of rearming her with red plastic toothpics in the future. Lastly, while Nyx was never outside on the snowly plains of Kharam, her Luke Jedi hood really makes her seem bundled up doesn't it? :)
