One of my favorite customs. For those who don't know, originally the Falcon design was that of the Correllian Corvette. After the TV show Space 1999 came out with similar ship designs, Lucas wanted the model changed. The cockpit and radar dish were kept, then rest became the (then) undesigned Tantive IV. For this custom I cut off the hammerhead and turned it 90 degrees (the exact opposite of what they did in real life.) Then I added the extra rader dish I had from a duplicate Falcon added cockpit windows, and painted the whole thing white and the engines red. I have now scanned the extremely good refernce photo I used from Star Wars Chronicles, in addition to the line drawing. Incidently, the name "Blockade Runner" on the drawing indicated the Falcon, as it did run the blockade on Tatooine. The name was used for the Corvette later on, and the ship design used by West End Games, and the Marvel Star Wars Comics.
