Duty Positions

After your application has been accepted, you will be given a rank and position aboard a starship. Below is a list of all of the positions and fields available on board the ships in the role play.

Command, which includes captain and commander

Engineering

Helm contol/piloting

Tactical and security; both duties are given to the same officer

Medical

Sciences

Starfleet intelligence

At the start of your role play career, you will be an ensign. Promotions will be given out by the respective captains as they see fit. After ensign, the chain of command goes as follows:

Lieutenant Junior Grade

Lieutenant

Lieutenant Commander

Commander

Captain

Rear Admiral (two star)

Admiral (four star)

Admiral of the Fleet (five star) The Admiral of the fleet is the highest ranking officer in Starfleet and does not command a ship.
