Angel: Yeah its me.

(Flashback) A long blonde runs down a dark alley and snakles around a corner, gun pointed. At teh end if the alley ion the adjacet side, a man and another two people, a man and a women, were on te stairs, both at gunpoint. Two shots ring out and the man and women fall, dead. The man with the gun, AI, smirks and laughs.

AI: O.K. now you can come out, Jackie.

The blonde rounds the corner, man on the farside of the alley. She runs up behind him and takes out handcuffs.

Jackie:Your underarrest for double homicide, under the Los Angelus Police Separtment 56.

AI: OK you got me, but ...... I got you.

Jackie: What are you ..... (looks ar the corpses and it strikes a resemblance ) Noooo! You son of a bitch! (runs to their side)

AI: Yes Jackie, its very true, both dead and their daughter to go with them, how convienient. (takes gun and aims it at her head)

Without her gun Jackie was defensless, AI gets ready to take the shot but his gun mysterously gets thrown across teh alley adn hits an empty garbage dumpster with a clang.

AI: What the......

Taking notice Jackie up and tackles AI, taking him to the ground, her partner, who finally caught up to her, got the cuffs and cuffed him.

Scott: You are under arrest by double homicide, and attempting to kill an officer of the law. Anything you say will or can be used against you in the court of law.

AI: Your next, Jackie. (smiling and crouches into the police car)

Jackie: Scott, radio for the county morgue, we have two stiffs, no autopsy.

Scott, and the police car with the stiffs topok off toward home base. The only things left were Jackie and her motorsycle, or so she thought. She heard something move and automacticy reached for her gun., Ready for anything.

Jackie: Show yourself!

A dark figure, blond and dressed in military b-d-u`s confronted her. Her aim not disrupted, she asked a line of questions.

Jakcie: Who are you? What do you want?

Angel: Thea, I`m not gonna hurt you, my name is ANgel and I have come here to save you.

Jackie: (getting paraniod): How do ytou know my name?

Angel: I am from tne future, please let me help you. (comming closer) In a few years that man will unleash a powerful void that will take over the surface of the earth, destroying anything it touches even humans.

Jackie: Your inching stop! (cocking her gun)

Angel: (stopping) Sorry, you have to listin to me! Thises things will be unstopable!

Jackie: (joking): What they gonna be bailies?

Angel: (schoked) : How did you know?

Jackie: Baily is AI`s son. He`s a bastard, we have him locked up in maxinmum security. Triple homicide, just like daddy dearest.

Angel:: Thea, listin, I don`t have much time, the portal`s gonna take me back. I`m going to give yyou a bracelet, it will protect you, only if you use it correctly.

Angel throws a blue-gem inside a bracelet. Jackie catches it and studies its contours.

Jackie: Turqoise?

Angel: No, its from the future, it was made for you and you alone.

A blue tunnerl open up behind Angel. She turns and starts walking toward it, but turns and her eyes matched the pale blue color of the potral.

Jackie: How can i find you?(tucks away the peice of jewlery, inside the front pocket of her leather jacket and looks back up at Angel.)

Angel: (starts into the portal) It`s me.

(Future) Laser fire missed Angel and Slayers head by inches.

Slayer: Whats the deal?

Angel:: Shoot the bad guys!

Slayer: And they are?

Angel shoots the side that Slayer was on previously.

Angel: There! (shootig again)

Slayer takes the hint and starts firing at the side, protecting Angel with her own body.

Only one of the bad legion was left, he was risking his life yo kill Angel. He starts to take the shot and does. Slayer noticing, shoots the man and takes the hit for Angel. She falls with a thud adn so does the man. Angel runs to Slayers side, riping her shirt to find out where the beam had entered her. Right on the sided of her obliques it had nicked her.

Angel: You ok?

Slayer: I`ll be fine.

Angel: Letrs get you taken care of huh?

Slayer: Whatever!

Angel: As if! Your comming with me to my lab.

Angel helps Slayer up and out of the bar. She show Slayer to a level inside another level. Sown landing 29, shaft 12. Angel pressed her hand on the wall. It beeped and a lazer bneam came down and scanned her. Another beep occured and the wall slides to the side. Slayer shoots Angel a confuzed look.

Slayer:: Is this where you live?

Walking in, taking Slayers hand.

Angel: Yeah.

Leading Slayer into the gleaming silver room, she lets SLayer sit on the workstation, while she gets bandages. Slayer looks around and she noticed something different, there was 3 doors. Angel had a two-man team.

(Flashback) Jackie gets on her bike and rides off to an uptown apartment complex. She parks her cycle and takes her helmet off. SHe jiggles the keys in the lock and unlocks the door, she marches up to her apartment that she shared with her future fiancee, Victor. She opens the door to and apartment that had womens clothes strewn carelessy about the place. Womens clothing she didn`t wear. Looking down at ehr blue jeans and her black top, still covered by the leather jacket, she noticed the black adn gold leopard print knee-high boots and the matching skirt weren`t heres. She picked up the clothing which reaked in cheap perfume and held it, while she marched into the master bedroom. She walked into a couple in bed snuggling. Sher dropped the clothes. Getting extreemely pissed at Victor and his slut, she took off the engagement ring and threw it at him.

Jackie: Cheating on me allready? I`m leaving!

Jackie storms out the door and down the stairs, onto her bike. She pulled out of her parking space and down the street. Victor comesout shortly, to find no bike, no Jackie. Jackie takes off to the gym. She checks in and changes into gymwear and starts punching away on the punching bag.

Jackie: Thanks Vic!

She punches the bag with such a force that the bag breaks, sending sand all over the place.

Janitor: It`s OK champ, I`ll get it.

Jackie: Thanks Gus.

She goes to the weights and starts lifting, for strenght, after a few reps she quit and started on her abdominals, doing crunches adn oblique presses. Sweat pouring off her forehead and finely shaped abs, she took a shower and got dressed. Now wearing a leather biker jacket and black jeans, she hoped onto her bike and takes off to Scotts place. She runs up to the door and knocks ferociously. A man finally came to the door.

Scott: Jackie? What are you doing here?

Jackie: Can I crash here tonight, i`m having trouble at home.

Scott: Yeah, sure, come on in.

Jackie gets into the house, into the third door in the hall and collapses on the bed. Scott comes in and covers Jackie, who is now sleeping, face down on the bed.

Scott: Night, Jack.

He shuts off the lights and closes the door.

(Future) Angel comes back into the room with bandages and peroxide.

Angel: Take off your shirt please.

Slayer obeys, she takes off her bdu camo shirt to reveal her nicely shaped six-pack and a black latex-like sports bra.

Angel: Thank you. O.K. (looks into her eyes) tell me when it hurts.

She dips a cloth into the water and begins to clean Slayers wound. A little droplet of water runs jaggedly down Slayers chisled hard abs. Angel staring at it, finally snaped out of it and continued working, getting a lazer out and sealing Slayers wound. She jumps a little.

Angel: Did I hurt you?

Slayer: I`m ok, I`m fine, go ahead, continue.

Angel looks away from Slayers eyes and down to her obliques, continuing her work. She takes a bandage of gauze out and places it over Slayers newly healed skin.

Angel: Hold this.

Slayer takes her right hand and places it over the gauze. Angel fruns it fron one side around her back and to the otherside. Slayer holds Angels hand over the wound and looks into Angels eyes.

Slayer: Thank you Angel.

Angel: No problem.

She takes the bandage and folds it into the other sheet. Angel cuts the gauze and wraps it back up. She puts the gauze back and places her right hand on SLayers left obliques.

Angel: You need rest and no action for a day.

Slayer: I think I`ll manage. Room?

Angel: Right. The one on the farthest left. My room is right next to it.

Angel rubs ehr hand over Slayers obliques. SLayer jumps off the workstartion and Angels hand slipped to Slayers back. Slayer looks at Angel and trots off.

Slayer: Night.

Angel: Night.

Slayer walks into her room and takes her guanlets off and placed them next to her gun. She got under the covers, onto her way to slumber.

Angel alone in the lab, cleans up the water and bandages. She thinks of only a few minutes before, when Slayer looked into her eyes. So deeply, so inviting, yet still so distant. She shakes it off and continues cleaning up the lab, before retiring for the night.

(Flashback) Jackie sleeps soundly in the bed, before being disturbed by a ring of shots. SHe moved out of the way of the window that the bullets were to fly through. The bullets proceeded to enter, smashed all the glass and right into the wall. Scott rushed into the room to find Jackie, sprawled against the wall, and the shattered glass on the bed. He looks out the window and sees nothing.

Jackie: It was Baily or AI. Either one, take your pic, they both want me dead.

Scott: I think you shouldn`t take the window side.

Jackie: Agreed.

Scott walked out of the room to make coffee. Jackie looked down at the bracelet that was mysteriously on her wrist. SHe gets up from the bed and exitsthe room. Scott pours her a cup of coffee and she sips it slowly. Scott turns witha folder in his hands. He threw it down on the table, right next to Jackie.

Scott: There`s the file on AI. Thats all anyone knowsw about him.

Jackie picks up the files and begins to surf through it. SHe stops at a picture. He turns to her.

Scott: Jack? (looks around in discust) I hate it when she does that.

Jackie in fact left and was down the street. He heard the rev of the engine and she was down the road with a shot. She raced down to a crime scene. A rather large sword, that only she could see, stuck out of the pavement. The hilt carved with white angels, the blade, silver and gold, a new futuristic metal. Jackie stepped over the "Do Not Cross" line and took the sword out of the pavement. She reads the blade "Avenging Angel"

Jackie: It`s here.

She takes the sword and gets on her bike. She drives to her apartment and parks. She opens the apartment door adn the place is sparkling. A not is left on the counter, she picks it up and reads it outloud.

Jackie "Dear Jac,

I`ve been a fool. About last night, well I was drunk

I`ve decided that I would move out, because of the pain I left you

I think its safe to say that we aren`t getting married and the wedding

is off. With my regards,

Vic"

Jackie puts down the note and picks up the sword. She twirls it around in her hand.

Jackie: OK Angel, I`ll wait for ya.

She takes the sword and hangs it on the mantle away from everything. She looked down at her arm. The bracelet was still on. The blue jewel turned as white as the hilt of the sword. Jackie glanced over to the sword then back down to the braclet.

Jackie: Hmm, interesting.

Sh turned on the tv and a news reportabout AI and his son was being shown. The jewel turned to a blood red color. Jackie looked down and saw it changed another color. SHe tried tugging it off and it wouldn`t move.

Jackie: OK Angel, I give up, you got me.

Right then and there the sword fell to the floor with a thud. Jackie turned and the sword was standing on its hilt. Straight as an arrow.

Jackie: (astonished): OK thats new.
