Pamela Seltsam's Home Page
Hello and welcome to my world, or at least my home page.
This is a learning experience (I'm no computer
scientist like my brother Paul) and your
comments are welcome.
A
Bit About Me:
I'd lived in Maryland all of my
life, close to Washington,DC. I enrolled myself at Charles County
Community College in 1992, stayed there for three and a half years, got
two Associate's degrees and met some really neat people. That's
also where I got seriously interested in theatre. I received my
Bachelor's in Technical Theatre from the University of Maryland, College Park in
May, 1998.
Now I'm living in New England where I worked at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
as a Systems Manager for the Center for
Advanced Educational Services for over three years; until they needed to lay me off due to a lack of work caused by departmental downsizing.
When I'm not busy taking care of a toddler I work part-time as a self-employed Internet consultant. No, I don't design web pages.
I was awarded first honorable mention in The Jim Henson 3-Dimensional Character Design Competition for a cardboard sculpture I made in 1997. I got to go to Henson Productions in New York and even walk down Sesame Street!! (couldn't really tell you how to get there though:) I met Big Bird and friends and saw Kermit posing for a new line of greeting cards.
Other stuff I do:
Thanks for dropping by.
